I generally support pro-choice legislation however my concern is the issue of when does life begin. I clear judicial or legislative definition of when life begins, will determine my overall support.

I believe in universal healthcare that is both affordable and accessible.

I thing our defense spending currently is adequate. I would increase more funding and resources to our military families and our veterans. I would vote to bring our soldiers home.

I am a big supporter of economic growth. Economic growth create jobs. Jobs create the opportunity for our citizens to earn a living wage. This is one of essential methods needed to end poverty or substantially reduce poverty and affectively address the homeless issue.

We don't need to repeal the Affordable Care Act. We need to revise and amend said Act. There are some very good provisions included in the Act like providing coverage for pre-existing conditions and the inclusion of about 20 million who would be without healthcare coverage.

I do not support building a wall. I support using those funds to provide affordable housing so that we can adequately house our growing homeless population. In a civilized country we must provide every illegal immigrants due process under the law before deciding their fate.

If America does not have a genuine national security interest, then we should limit military intervention.

A certain consistent amount of a tariff is both fair and reasonable. That is the cost of doing business. However tariffs should not be used as a form of punishment or a penalty to another country.
As your U. S. Congressman, I will focus on the following issues: 1. In an effort reduce poverty, I will fight for a living wage by increasing minimum wage to $15.00 an hour over a three period. This action will reduce poverty in America by taking over 20million working citizens out of the poverty classification. I will provide tax breaks and incentives to business owners as they make adjustment for the new wages. 2. I will focus on creating jobs that are paying living wages. 3. I will fight for universal healthcare that is both affordable and accessible.
